HEAVY HAUL
Shipments that exceed the guidelines for legal dimensions (width, height or length) and/or weight limits, which in turn require special equipment and permits are required to move the load.
SPECIALTY
& OVER-DIMENSIONAL
Freight loads that exceed the standard or ordinary legal size and/or weight limits for a specified portion of road, highway or other transport infrastructure.
DECK WORK
Often termed 'flatbed shipping,' goods transported on truck decks (see below) and thereby not requiring protection from the elements and/or temperature shifts.
VAN/REEFER
Entails the use of standard enclosed semi-trailers as well as refrigerated trailers for the transport of temperature-sensitive items like food commodities and medications.

TDR Transportation and Logistics, based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has been providing superior transport services for over 25 years. OUR FLEET
TDR'S diverse and well-maintained fleet can accommodate all freight types. Currently, we utilize:
Step Deck tandem and tridem axle trailers, including deck heights of 36” and 42” and deck lengths of 51’ and 53’.
Hot Shot Services for time-sensitive freight delivered outside of usual shipping times.
Flat Bed in lengths of 53’ — typically used to transport heavy loads not requiring protection from the elements.
Import/Export Shipping of containers and vehicles, specifically service to/from the Port of Halifax.
Float (Low Boy) of 45-ton to 85-ton, 5 axle to 13 axle configurations, including various deck heights.
Courier Services with same-day and overnight delivery, along with warehousing and distribution capabilities.*
